Ok here is the list:
- Super Nu Thera 1/2 tsp 2x a day
- Folinic Acid Kirkman’s brand 800mcg 1x per day
- TMG 500mg 1x per day
- Vitamin K2 (Thorne Research) 2 drops 2x per day
- CoQ10 50mg 1x per day
- Selenium 200mcg 1x per day
- Magnesium Citrate 110mg 2x per day
- Vitamin C 1100mg 2x or 3x per day
- Acetyl L-Carnitine 500mg 2x per day
- No Fenol Enzymes 1/2 tab 1x per day
- Olive Leaf Extract 20 drops 2 or 3 times per day
- Biotin - sporadically depending on yeast issues and constipation issues
I also use houston enzymes for any infractions.
During Chelation
- ALA (Alpha-Lipoic Acid)
- DMSA
I will discuss the dosage for ala/dmsa in a separate post about Chelation.
Prescriptions
- Ketoconazole (anti fungal)
- Acyclovir (anti viral)
This list changes often. I am actually still building up to that dose of acetyl L carnitine. We are at 250mg 2x per day right now, but I hope to be at the full dose by the end of the week.
Ketoconazole is the third prescription for an anti fungal that she has been on. Diflucan and Nystatin were the first two. Ketoconazole seems to have been the most effective on her yeast.
For an anti viral, I had 2 choices, Valtrex and Acyclovir (brand name Zovirax). The reason for choosing Acyclovir is because it comes in a liquid and is easier to take. I also looked at this study http://www.racoon.com/herpes/v_a_compare.htm and thought Acyclovir was worth trying.
What I would like to add to her list.
I am missing a Essential Fatty Acid, I will try adding on again soon. I rebelled against the most nasty tasting things for my child a few months ago. I was using tons of GSE to control yeast and one day I just couldn’t do it anymore, so she has a reprive.
I will also add back in MB12 injections after the L-Carnitine is in place. She has been on them before, but I didn’t see any benefits. I am hoping the acetyl l-carnitine will help with absorption.

Comment by Kim nelson on August 18th, 2008 @ 11:19 pmHer diagnosis was moderate to severe autism. I have not had her re-diagnosed. She has lost some symptoms, but we are still in the midst of autism.
We began our journey in November of 2006.
